The problem is that the product is described as fitting up to 17" laptops. When the cooling fan arived it was clearly only designed to fit 15" laptops. Many times I would find myself using my Mac sitting on my knees in bed. After a while the bottom of the laptop was hotter than a depot stove! I saw the Thermotake rated/reviewed in Computer Magazine. The review was excellent and described all the features fully. The Massive23 GT is light as a feather. My Mac runs around 85 deg. F now and the Thermotake keeps it off my knees. It seems to use a little more battery power but I am not totally sure it enough to be an issue. The fan speed is adjustable which is a nice feature as well. It's just a really nicely designed cooler. Bottom line...I would buy it again. This fan produces no air to no air. I put a small piece of paper to see how strong the fan was and nothing the paper moved a little but that was it. 3- For a fan that makes no air, it makes a lot of noise. Don't be fooled by this thing, all it is is just a crappy plastic fan that doesn't produce any air and lights up. please save your money and buy something else. I'm rating this thing one star because i can do zero stars. |
